SALEM – The Mount Abram High School community will celebrate the life of Liz Cote-Albro from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, at the school.

During her tenure as librarian at the school, Cote-Albro possessed a passion for life and a strong work ethic that made them proud to call her a colleague and a close personal friend, said staff member.

A perennial garden will be planted in her memory in front of the library windows at the school. Anyone wishing to be involved is encouraged to attend or to contact the high school to make a donation.

The Liz Cote-Albro Scholarship will also be established. Anyone wishing to make contributions may do so by contacting or sending donations to Judy McCurdy, guidance office, Mount Abram High School, RR 1 Box 760, Strong, ME 04983.

For more information, contact Barry London at [email protected] or McCurdy at 678-2701, ext. 106, or [email protected].
