WALES – Webster Lodge 164, AF and AM, located at the Wales Grange Hall, Centre Road, will hold a special communication on Thursday, Sept. 30, to confer the master Mason’s degree on one candidate. LEWISTON – Linda Dube from Community Concepts and Reta Herrick from the Family Self-Sufficiency Program of the Lewiston Housing Authority will present a program centered around opportunities for home ownership and special savings accounts from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Sept. 30, at the B Street Community Center, Room B.

Bridge winners
LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Duplicate Bridge Club met on Sept. 21 at the Multi-Purpose Center.
Winners in Flight A were: first, Randy Silver and Anna Vitiello; second, Mary Leahey and Nancy Lindgren; third, David Lock and Luke Merry; fourth, Martine Begert and Rosemarie Goodwin. There was a tie for first place in Flight B between Charles Bartlett and Eleanor Abraham with Roger Briggs and Lucille Bilodeau.
A club championship game will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, at the center. A partner is guaranteed.
The club also met on Sept. 22 at Schooner Estates in Auburn. North/South winners in Flight A were: first, David Lock and Jeanine Kivus; second, Martine Begert and Rosemarie Goodwin; third, Larry Fortier and Anna Vitiello. Flight B winners were Roger Briggs and Claire Lyons.
East/West winners in Flight A were: first, Leslie Buzzell and Ann Riley; second, David Wallace and Tom Dahlberg; tied at third, Luke Merry and Paul Barber with Dick Horne and Nancy Lindgren.
