It was a joy to read about the accomplishments of Auburn Middle School students in their balloon project (Sept. 18). These students at AMS have learned how to apply their knowledge of physics into something real by seeing their efforts reach the sky.

Auburn residents should be proud of the education their children are receiving and congratulated for choosing to build the new Park Avenue school.
