PARIS – A family-style bed and breakfast, Timber Woods Farm, will soon be open to guests at 306 High St.
The Planning Board on Tuesday gave conditional approval of the bed and breakfast plans with a 4-0 vote.
The plans were submitted by Jeffrey O. Jackson of the same address.
Members withheld complete approval only because there was no letter of interest from the actual property owner, Albert Franchi of Boston.
Jackson said he has been working with Franchi for 10 years, and the pair does not have a formal contract. A letter of interest will do, responded the board.
“Everything is good to go,” Jackson said after receiving the partial approval. Once Franchi’s letter is submitted, the bed and breakfast will open. its doors.
Eight to 10 people may stay at the farmhouse at one time, Jackson said, and the rates will be kept affordable so that more families are given the opportunity to vacation in the area.
In other business, the board scheduled a site walk at 9 a.m. Saturday for a three-lot subdivision proposed off Parsons Road.
