DURHAM – The First Congregational Church of Durham will host its annual fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, at the church, Route 136. There will be tables of crafts, food and candy.

Silent auction items will be available to view and bid on during the fair. There will be a luncheon beginning at 11 a.m.

The silent auction bid book is available for viewing by calling Sandra Bowie at 353-8818 or Fran Brown at 353-2435. Bids will be accepted until Nov. 1. Highest bids will be announced at the conclusion of the harvest supper on Saturday, Nov. 6.

The supper will run from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Menu will include ham, carrots, turnip, onions, relish, corn bread, rolls, beverage and assorted homemade pies. Cost is $7 for adults; $6, seniors: $3.50. children ages 5 to 12; free. age 4 and under.

All proceeds from the events will benefit the church.
