MEXICO – The Town Office will be closed Thursday, Oct. 7. The office staff will be attending the annual Maine Municipal Association convention all day.

Extension group making snowmen

PERU – The Peru Extension will meet at the Peru School at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9. Birdseed snowmen will be made for the holiday open house. Members are being asked to bring a white sock, scissors and decorations for the snowmen, plus articles for the raffle basket. Dues of $3 dues will be collected. Lunch will be potluck, and Virginia Viitala has the mystery.
