BETHEL – Janet C. Black, Maine master floral designer and president of the Maine State Florist and Growers Association, has been chosen Member of the Year 2003.

She is owner of Designs Florist and Interiors, at 2 Mechanic St. in Bethel.

The designation was made at the association’s trade convention, Sept. 18 at the Sheraton Hotel in South Portland. Florists from Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Vermont and Massachusetts attended the convention.
