AUBURN – The Auburn Democratic City Committee will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, in the conference room of the Police Department.

The guest speaker will be Tom Andrews, a former member of Congress from Maine’s 1st Congressional District and now the national director of Win Without War, a coalition of 42 national organizations. Win Without War led the national campaign opposing the U.S. invasion of Iraq and is now leading opposition to the Bush administration’s policy there, according to the committee.

Refreshments will be served. All Auburn Democrats as well as members of the general public are being encouraged to attend.
