FARMINGTON – The United Way of the Tri-Valley Area’s annual charity auction will start at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, in the Granary Restaurant and Brew Pub on Pleasant Street. Preview of auction items begins at 5 p.m.
More than 145 items will be available, including: a Canadian glider, a full tank of propane, a W.A. Mitchell step stool, 100 gallons of heating oil, an original oil print by Marni Lawson, hand-tied flies, a kitchen sink, a logger’s safety helmet, an original “Meet the Beatles” album, movie passes, a professional ski lesson and lift ticket for Titcomb Mountain, an antique clock, a boat anchor, a three-month membership to Curves, and a gift certificate to SugarWood Gallery.
Serving as auctioneers are Adrian Harris, Jeff Harris and Roger Lambert.
