LIVERMORE FALLS – Police are investigating a report of an 11-year-old being assaulted on his way home from school last week.
The child’s mother made the complaint after her son reported that a car with four males in it pulled up beside him while he was walking home from school, Livermore Falls Police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said.
The boy said he was punched in the stomach and had his backpack taken, Steward said.
The incident was reported at 4:11 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5.
Police also looking into an incident in which a juvenile allegedly broke all the American flags hanging outside a Moose Hill Road home Thursday morning, Oct. 7, then tampered with a legislative candidate’s sign, Steward said.
