CONCORD, N.H. (AP) – A federal bankruptcy judge has ruled that a bankrupt store owner still must pay several thousand dollars in Fish and Game fees he collected and didn’t turn over to the state.
David Collins, who did business as “Cold River Cycle Parts” in Alstead, collected more than $3,000 in registration fees from snowmobilers and ATV owners from 1995 until 2003. Collins filed for bankruptcy this year, but Fish and Game argued he still should be responsible for the fees.
