PARIS – The McLaughlin Foundation Garden and Horticultural Center will hold its fourth annual “Witches Brew: Seasonal High Tea” from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at the foundation at 97 Main St.

People are invited to enjoy a traditional three-course high tea featuring tea sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and a variety of cakes, served by a coven of culinary witches. There will be two seatings, at 2 to 5 p.m. Reservations are advised. The cost is $15 for adults and $10 for children under 12, and the price includes a raffle ticket for art supplies and a garden treat to take home. Costumes are encouraged but not required.

The event is also an opportunity for people to explore the garden – with its asters, colchicum and sedum – before it closes for the season. People may obtain more information or make a reservation by calling 743-8820.
