PEORIA, Ariz. – Beloved father and friend, Ronald J. Levasseur, 63, formerly of Lewiston, died Saturday, Oct. 9, at his home in Peoria, Ariz..

Born Feb. 11, 1941, in Grand Isle, he was the son of the late Oniel and Imelda Levasseur of Lewiston. He served in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1965, was a union bricklayer most of his life and remembered for a wonderful sense of humor and a love for golf.

He is survived by his loving other, Shelly Larson, of Arizona; five children, sons, Ronald J. Levasseur Jr., and daughter-in-law, Joelle Levasseur, of Massachusetts, Jon Levasseur, of Maine; daughters, Jackie Matthew and Sonya Clifford, of Maine, and Tammy Kloser and son-in-law, Joe Kloser, of Maryland; two brothers, Leo Levasseur, Oniel Levasseur Jr., and sister, Theresa Parent; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
