Accidents
Lewiston

• Cars driven by Stacy A. Field, 23, of 7 Shawmut St., and Michael R. Dubuc, 22, of 15 Novella St. collided at 7:55 a.m. Saturday at Central and Russell streets. Damage to the black 1992 Pontiac two-door that Fields was driving was estimated at $2,000. Damage to Dubuc’s black 1995 two-door BMW was estimated at $200.

Auburn

• Cars driven by Mark G. Couturier, 45, 318 Lake St.; Merton A. Vinning, 55, of 35 Canterbury Lane, Turner; and Wesley A. Philbrook, 56, of Livermore Falls collided at 6:45 p.m. Friday on Center Street. Damage to Couturier’s green 1998 Ford truck was estimated at $5,000. Damage to Vinning’s green 2001 Buick four-door was estimated at $12,000. Damage to Philbrook’s blue 1999 Ford truck was estimated at $3,000.

• Robert David McQueeney, 18, of 697 S. Witham Road, was eastbound on Danville Corner Road at 9:20 p.m. Thursday when he lost control of his red 1991 Chevrolet two-door and failed to make a curve. The car went off the road, skidded 46 feet and hit a mailbox at 691 Danville Corner Road. The car skidded another 103 feet, through a stone wall, before coming to a rest. Damage to the car was estimated at $3,000.
