NORWAY – Malcolm C. Pike, 74, of Oxford, passed away Oct. 19, at Norway Rehabilitation and Living Center, after a long fight with Parkinson’s disease.

He was born in East Oxford, Aug. 1, 1930, the son of John and Mildred Cole Pike. He attended the Pratt School and the Emugene Staples School, both in Oxford.

He married Eleanor McAllister on Nov. 22, 1949. He worked for several years at Burnham and Morrill’s and Paris Gladding, until his illness. He enjoyed his family outings, dancing, snowmobiling and going out to eat.

He is survived by his loving wife, Eleanor; three daughters, Cynthia Smith and husband, Philip, of Oxford, Mary Durgin and husband, Dick, of Oxford and Donna Springer and husband, Jeffrey, of Waterford; a sister, Beverly Berry, of Auburn; a brother, Floyd, of South Paris; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a very special dog, “Lucky.”

He was predeceased by his parents, and five brothers, Gordon, Bion, Erlon, Marshall and Lloyd.
