FRANKLIN, Texas – Susanne Tyler Claypool, loving mother, grandmother and wife, cherished daughter, true friend and thoughtful sister, died suddenly on Oct. 13, in Franklin, Texas.

“Susy,” as known by her friends, was born on Jan. 11, 1954, in Farmington, where she lived for the majority of her life. She had lived in Texas for the past three years.

She was known for her sense of humor, strong spiritual beliefs and love of family and the outdoors. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Survivors include her daughter, Lesa Nile Bishop; granddaughter, Michaela; son-in-law, Brad; sons, Jamie and Michael Nile; husband, Jim Claypool, of Texas; mother, Ada Tyler, of Farmington; her brothers and sisters, John Tyler and his wife, Jackie, of Farmington, Marilyn Gilmore, of Florida, Gail Currier and companion, Derwin Nile, of Farmington, Janet Kennedy and husband, Alton, of Industry, David Tyler and wife, Peachie, of Farmington, Joe Tyler and wife, Debbie, of Frankfort, Nancy Tyler and companion, Larry (Wink) Norton, of Andover, Peter Tyler and companion, Veronica Haines, of New Vineyard and Edward Tyler and wife, Cindy, of Farmington; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Floyd Nile, in 1984, the father of her children, her father, Albert Tyler, of Farmington in 1985, and sister, Elaine Flagg in 1979.
