I support Terry Hayes for House District 94.
I have known Terry for more than 10 years. I have coached her children. Terry is present and involved. She has remained active even as her kids moved into and through high school.
Terry has provided great support for me and other coaches year-round, doing everything from driving football equipment to away games, making breakfast for the teams, to organizing tailgate refreshments for the softball-baseball doubleheaders in Greenville and Jackman. When Terry offers to help, she follows through.
To my knowledge, Terry has never pressured a coach to play her child. She has never challenged a coach’s decision on the court or the field. Terry is the kind of supportive parent all coaches want, someone who will help behind the scenes and cheer proudly in support of the entire team.
We need folks of Terry’s caliber working for us in Augusta.
