The city of Lewiston has been very lucky to be represented by many esteemed and dedicated public servants. The late Hon. Albert Gamache and former Sen. Georgette Berube come to mind.

We now have another such public servant in Peggy Rotundo. I’ve known Peggy Rotundo for many years and found her to be a woman of dignity, integrity and real caring for the concerns of the people of Lewiston and all Maine citizens. She has worked hard to improve our schools and increase educational opportunities for all. She strongly supports continued economic growth, quality health care (the Dirigo health plan and lower drug prices), and maintaining and preserving our unique Maine environment.

I will be voting to re-elect Sen. Peggy Rotundo on Nov. 2.
