This president has done just about everything in his power to ruin this country. Here’s how:
• The war in Iraq (over 1,068 killed and over 7,000 injured). He has no exit plan and no coalition. His answer: Cut the pay $75 a month for combat troops and $150 for families; cut $4 million for Togus and close 10-12 Veterans Affairs centers.
• North Korea is pointing nuclear weapons at us. Bush’s answer: Pull our troops out of South Korea and pretend everything is OK.
• Our economy is trashed, stock market stagnant, interest on savings and checking accounts the lowest in many years. People’s 401(k) and IRAs, what a joke.
• Bush’s 2003 tax cut robbed every working man and woman’s Social Security accounts and took $485 billion out of it and gave it to the rich making over $200,000. His answer: The people won’t notice.
• Outsourcing is good for our country. His answer: People can work two or three jobs to make up the difference. He also wants to cut overtime pay. He thinks people are so busy trying to make ends meet they won’t notice unemployment is at an all time high.
• Thousands of people have lost health insurance or can’t afford it, as well as businesses. His plan: No plan.
• He has put our country in debt. His answer: Let our grandchildren pay.
Wake up Maine and America.
