LEWISTON – Alphee F. Robitaille Jr., 63, of Mount Hope Ave., died at his residence Friday, Oct. 22.

He was born in Lewiston on July 7, 1941, the son of Alphee and Patricia (DesFosses) Robitaille.

He was educated locally and served in the U.S. Army, and later he was honorably discharged. Alphee was the president of B & B Trucking Company and spent many hours behind the wheel of his trucks.

He loved spending quality time with his grandchildren and countless hours enjoying Nascar racing with a good cigar.

He was a member of Holy Cross Parish.

On Nov. 13, 1981, he married the former Barbara Pelletier and together resided in Lewiston.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; his mother, Patricia Robitaille, of Lewiston; his sons, Michael Robitaille and his wife, Regina, of Jay, and Frank Robitaille and his companion, Mary Allen, of Leeds; his step-son, Rene Marquis, who is serving in the U.S. Army stationed in Hawaii; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Matthew, Melanie, Jacob, and Tyler Robitaille, Caleb and Nicole Marquis, and Michael and Nicholas Allen; his sisters, Claudette Lizotte, of Old Orchard Beach, Annette Kwiatkowski and her husband, Frank, and Anita Gove, all of New Hampshire; his brothers, Hector Robitaille and wife, Virginia, of Connecticut, Victor Robitaille and wife, Linda, of Sabattus, Louis Robitaille and wife, Linda, and John Robitaille and wife, Mary, all of Lewiston.

He was predeceased by his father, Alphee Robitaille Sr., in 1997.
