I am appalled to see the amount of red tape and regulations that the state continues to inflict on the small business. These are the businesses that are operated by local people, who are trying to build and strengthen their communities.

I was disturbed when I learned that Bruce Bryant has one of the lowest business ratings in the Legislature. The National Federation of Independent Businesses gave him a failing rate of 25 percent. The Maine Economic Research Institute, rated his legislative performance 10.5 percent. Both of these ratings are from the actual legislative votes.

Mr. Bryant apparently does not understand that he needs to support legislation that enables businesses to grow and provide good-paying jobs for our residents.

Rob Cameron proudly supported both Maine businesses and their employees while in the House. I will vote for Rob Cameron to continue that support in the Senate.
