SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Megan Connolly blasted a penalty kick 3:36 into the second overtime period to lift the University of Maine to a 2-1 win over Albany in America East Conference field hockey Sunday afternoon.

Albany jumped out to an early lead on a Danielle Conklin goal at 6:26 of the first period, but failed to hold on as Traci Raione converted a Emily Dooling pass to knot the goal at 1-all, setting the stage for Connolly’s game-winner.

Jamie Morin made six saves in the win.

Anna Maria 4, St. Joe’s 2

STANDISH – Holly Wrightson deposited an unassisted goal with 19:24 left in the second half to lift Anna Maria College to a 4-2 win over St. Joseph’s College in field hockey action Sunday.

Suzanne Yanovitch opened the scoring for Anna Maria, converting a feed from Jennifer Hurley at 26:31 of the first half.

Maine 1, UNH 0

ORONO – Erin Corey converted a pass from Heather Hathorn at 18:41 of the first half to send the University of Maine to a 1-0 victory over the University of New Hampshire in soccer play Sunday.

Tanya Adorno needed only one save to register the shutout as the Black Bears (11-4-1) notched their 11th win of the season.

UMF 2, Elms 0

FARMINGTON – Heidi Parker drilled an unassisted goal halfway through the first period to propel the University of Maine at Farmington to a 2-0 win over Elms College in women’s soccer play Sunday afternoon.

Kelsey Burk chipped in with an insurance goal in the second half, converting a feed from Jodie Welch to account for the final score.
