In this very chaotic world, we need a state representative who is aware of and will fight for the best interests in all issues for Lewiston citizens.

Rep. Makas is well-qualified to continue to represent us. Her experience from serving on the Head Start board to teaching our college students gives her an awareness of what is happening to Lewiston citizens and our needs in many different aspects.

Lewiston is fortunate to have the beautiful Androscoggin River running through it. Cleaning up our river to keep it safe for fish survival and recreation is an ongoing process. The paper companies wanted to have lower DEP standards from Jay to the Great Falls. L-A deserves the same quality standards as other towns along the river. Elaine, along with other Lewiston legislators, fought hard for our part of the river.

I believe we need to keep Elaine as our state representative.
