Bruce Bryant talks a lot about jobs, health care and education. Unfortunately for Mr. Bryant, actions speak louder than words. He opposed fully funding special education and opposed funding the state’s promised share of education, causing local property taxes to rise. He even voted to tax Social Security.
Bryant talks about creating jobs, yet he continues to support tax and financial policies that create a hostile climate for businesses and workers alike, and instead rewards special interests.
Be it through ignorance or misguided thought, Bryant has proven to be an ineffective voice for the people of Maine. In fact, the only thing that is worse than his voting record is Bryant’s own criminal record, which includes a recent arrest for OUI.
After seven years of making promises, it is apparent that Bryant has not only failed miserably as a legislator but has also managed to embarrass both himself and his constituents.
