ALBANY, N.Y. – Heather Hathorn scored a goal and added an assist to lead the University of Maine to a 4-0 victory over the University of Albany in womens’ soccer action Thursday.

Maureen McHugh, Laura Harper and McKayla Bell also tallied for the Black Bears (12-4-1) to complete the scoring. Tanya Adorno was not put to the test in net, needing no saves to notch the shutout.

Catherine Nicholson handled netkeeping duties for Albany (2-17), turning away eight shots.
