St. Lawrence University of Canton, N.Y., has welcomed the following area students as members of the class of 2008.

Anna E. Dunlap ’08, Farmington, a graduate of Mount Blue High School in Farmington.

John W. Slattery ’08, Minot, a graduate of Hebron Academy in Hebron.

Each will participate in St. Lawrence University’s innovative first-year program, an introduction to the liberal arts curriculum taught in residence halls by faculty teams. Clear writing and speaking skills are stressed, and careful advising is provided.
