LEWISTON – Richard T. LePage, 63, of Lewiston died Saturday, Oct. 30, at Central Maine Medical Center following a short illness.
He was born in Lewiston on May 3, 1941, the son of Samson and Marjorie (Goulette) LePage.
He attended St. Patrick’s grammar school and was a graduate of Lewiston High School. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served for over four years.
Returning to this community, he was employed by the United Parcel Service before joining his father in the family business FHP Engine Service, and taking over its operation until his retirement in 2003.
He is survived by his wife Dodie (Tankey) LePage, of Lewiston; his father, of Lewiston; one daughter, Michelle and her husband, Thomas Mikolajczyk, of Boothbay Harbor; one son, Thomas and his wife, Abigail LePage, of Jaffery, N.H.; one step-son, John Payne and his companion, DeeAnn, of Orr’s Island; one step-daughter, Shannon and her husband, Michael Labbe; two grandchildren, Megen Poulin and Thomas Labbe; one sister-in-law, Joan Tankey, of Lewiston.
He was predeceased by his mother.
