AUBURN – Kennebec edged Auburn Peewee Two 4-3 Sunday. Lighting the lamp for the winners were Connor Dufour, John Fessender, Jason Laporte and Will Frost. Assists went to Seth Johnson, Cameron MacMillen, Laporte and Frost. Ben Ellis was the winning goalie. Thomas Greco scored 2 goals for Auburn. Elijah Lamothe netted the other. Credited with assists were Cam Bennett and Lamothe. Jacob Lapierre donned the pads.

Auburn Youth Hockey Peewee Travel Team earned a pair of victories in recent action. Auburn edged Casco Bay 5-3 as Cody Russell and Jordan Haskell both collected 2 goals and an assist. Kolby Arnold tallied the odd goal. Other assists went to Tim Millett, Mat Gordon, Matt Cote and Dylan Nadeau. Goalie Cody Violette made 10 saves. . . Saturday, Auburn rolled past Avalanche, N.H., 9-1 as Gordon scored a hat trick and assisted on 3 others. Nadeau and Russell each tallied 2 goals, 3 assists. Isaac Reed had a goal and 3 assists; Cote collected a goal and an assist; and Haskell notched 4 assists. Violette was credited with 11 saves.
