AUBURN – Abbott Vaughn Meader, delivered by Dr. Goodrich on March 20, 1936, the night Waterville washed out, died at his home in Auburn at 6 a.m. Friday, Oct. 29.
Although best known as the voice of President John F. Kennedy on the 1962 comedy album, “The First Family, playing honky-tonk piano and singing his own songs was his passion.
Among those left behind are his wife, Sheila Colbath Meader; his aunt, Pauline Patterson; seven cousins; and many friends and fans.
