On Friday, Sept. 24, the Outing Club headed to Bar Harbor for their first trip of the season. It was a small group but a group that proved they could have lots of fun. Packed to the brim, the group headed to Hadley Point Campground to set up camp for the night. With sleeping bags, food and excitement our group settled in. We were up bright and early on Saturday ready to hike Mt. Kebo. The sights were beautiful. After our hike we all enjoyed playing miniature golf at the Pirate’s Cove.

Then we headed to downtown Bar Harbor for some shopping. After we had spent our money we headed back to the campground for our supper. I enjoyed eating the Tin Foil Dinners but my favorite foods were at breakfast when we ate Egg McMuffins and pancakes.

We slept like logs and continued our adventures on Sunday. We first headed to the Carriage Road Trails to bike and take in the scenery. Our group stopped at the Jordan Pond House for a break and that is where I bought some salt water taffy. It was getting late so we packed up and headed back to Lisbon Falls. We had a great time and I want to thank Mrs. Pam Ouellette the Outing Club Advisor for planning such a fun trip.
