AUBURN – The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College is offering a complimentary preview of its Customer Service Excellence program for human resource professionals, business owners, managers and training coordinators. The preview is from 8 to 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, at the Lakeside Training Center in Jalbert Hall Room 234. A light continental breakfast will be provided. Interested participants are asked to RSVP by Nov. 5 at 207-755-5280.
The customer service excellence certificate provides tools to building a culture of high quality customer service in business. The preview will provide highlights on developing customer expectations, increasing customer retention, improving employee morale and enhancing profit and growth.
Susan Lavers, CM corporate training coordinator, and Jim Handy, customer service trainer, will present the customer service excellence preview. Lavers works with businesses to provide customized, high quality training programs for their employers. Handy, former customer service representative and trainer for L.L. Bean, has more than 15 years experience in customer service program design and training, and as a customer service representative.
