It is very sad to find that there are some citizens in our community that do not know the value of the blood drive posters in our town.
The town of Rangeley had one of its three blood drives on Monday, Nov. 1, and all the posters were removed from the telephone poles during the evening and night of Saturday, Oct. 30. This was done also at the August blood drive.
We sincerely hope that any of the perpetrators will never find themselves on the side of a very serious accident or surgery where blood transfusions would be needed and the hospital will have to say, “Sorry, but we do not have any blood available today for you.”
John N. and M. Pilar Bates,
Rangeley
