LEWISTON – The “Sleigh Bells Ring” Christmas fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at St. Patrick’s parish hall, corner of Walnut and Blake streets.
There will be crafts, jewelry, white elephant booth, knits and sewing crafts, books, puzzles, candy and fudge, homemade baked goods and a large raffle table. There will also be a pot of gold, 50/50 chances and raffles and drawings for $500, $300, $200 cash prizes.
Advance tickets may be purchased at the rectory, 1 Walnut St., or by calling Frank and Pauline at 782-1444. There will also be a special drawing. Winners will be drawn at the conclusion of the fair at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Holiday fair
SABATTUS – Our Lady of the Rosary will hold a holiday fair from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at Maxwell-Gill Hall, High Street.
There will be a variety of crafters, bake table, raffles and white elephant corner. The kitchen will serve lobster roll specials on Friday and hot dog specials on Saturday with a spaghetti supper from 4 to 6 p.m. that day. Anyone wanting more information should call Connie Chasse at 375-6581.
Mother Goose
BOWDOIN – A “Mother Goose” Christmas fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at the West Bowdoin Parish Hall. A chowder lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and there will be a food table. Free coffee will be available all day. The event is sponsored by the West Bowdoin Baptist Church.
Spouses fair
BRUNSWICK – The All Officers’ Spouses Club of the Brunswick Naval Air Station will hold a holiday craft fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at Brunswick High School, Maquoit Road. Proceeds will benefit local charities. Admission is free.
Grange fair
GREENE – Androscoggin Grange 8 will hold its annual craft fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at the Grange, Main Street. For more information, call Janice at 946-5006.
Open house
HEBRON – East Hebron Extension Homemakers will participate in the annual Holiday Open House sponsored by the Oxford County Extension Homemakers from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at the First Congregational Church, South Paris. The theme will be “Candy Cane Capers.”
The East Hebron theme is “For the Birds.” The sales table will offer a variety of items, including decorative bird feeders, crazy quilt pillows and potholders, coasters and other items suitable for gift giving.
There will be a variety of sales tables, including baked goods. Coffee and muffins will be available and a lunch will be available at 11:30, served by the South Paris Extension Homemakers.
Fair at Legion
GRAY – A Christmas fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, at the Gray American Legion Post, 15 Lewiston Road. There will be fish chowder, sandwiches and hot dogs on the menu. The LaFemmes, Cabane 1003, of the 40 and 8, are sponsors. Proceeds will benefit a nursing scholarship. The hall is handicapped-accessible and nonsmoking.
