AUBURN – A 21-year-old Lewiston woman pleaded guilty Friday to sexually abusing a minor and was placed on one year of probation.
Angela Holmes was one of several people arrested in connection with a child sex-abuse case described by police as “among the worst we have ever seen.”
Police say Holmes and another woman, Stacie Fisk, sexually abused a 14-year-old girl on June 9.
Holmes, Fisk and Fisk’s husband, James, were arrested after the 14-year-old went to police. In addition to reporting the sexual acts, the girl gave police a CD containing a graphic video of an adult performing sexual acts on a child who appeared to be 2 years old.
Based on that, investigators said, they seized computers, photographs and videos from the Fisks showing children engaged in sexual acts.
Holmes, of 85 Horton St., was not charged with possessing any of the pornographic material, only with abusing the girl.
She pleaded guilty Friday afternoon in Androscoggin County Superior Court and was sentenced to one year in prison with the entire sentence suspended, followed by one year of probation. As a condition of her probation, she must get psychological and substance-abuse counseling.
Stacie Fisk, 33, of 97 Howe St., pleaded guilty last week to two counts of sexual abuse of a minor, one count of possession of sexually explicit materials and two counts of furnishing alcohol to a minor. She is scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 18.
James Fisk, 51, of the same address, is expected to plead guilty Tuesday, according to court officials.
