AUBURN – The Auburn Youth Hockey Peewee Travel team earned 3 victories in weekend action. Auburn blanked Midcoast 5-0 as Cody Violette goaled the shutout, making 12 saves. Matt Cote tallied 2 goals. Adding 1 each were Mat Gordon, Dylan Nadeau and Jordan Haskell. Credited with assists were Kolby Arnold (3), Tim Millett (2), Gordon, Nadeau, Haskell and Cody Russell. . . Also Saturday, Auburn nipped Casco Bay 2-1 as Millett and Haskell notched the goals. Assists went to Millett, Nadeau and Gordon. Violette stopped 13 shots. . . Sunday, Auburn squeezed out a 3-2 victory over Winslow as Violette made 13 saves. Nadeau tallied 2 goals and Millett the other. Receiving assists were Millett (2), Brenden Giambra and Arnold.

AYH’s Peewee team dropped a 6-3 decision to Maranacook. Elijah Lamothe netted 2 Auburn goals. Tom Greco scored the other. Cam Bennett earned an assist. Jacob Lapierre was between the pipes.
