GARDINER – Georgine Fullam, 86, a former resident of Livermore Falls, went to be with her Lord and Saviour, Sunday, Nov. 7, at Robinson’s Health Care Facility.

“Georgie” was born on Jan. 6, 1918, in Livermore Falls, the daughter of Francois and Emelienne Collette Thibeault. She was a 1937 graduate of Livermore Falls High School. She was well-known for her cooking, where many a friend and relative benefited either at her table or at their own.

She thrived on helping those in need in any way that she could, sending out many meals too numerous to mention. She also enjoyed sewing, making crafts, listening to music, singing to her children in French and learning about Jesus from her Bible.

Her favorite Christian song was “Amazing Grace,” of which she lived to show to others. She had a gift for listening and comforting and lived her life as an example of why God gave us two ears and one mouth. “Listen, Live, Love and Give.”

She attended Wayside Bible Baptist Church in Livermore where she was saved, discipled and baptized in her late 70’s. She always looked forward to family reunions on the beach and gathering seashells to take home for decorations. All holidays were times for her to gather her large family, a numerous heritage of 54. She is survived by a son, Edgar Dill, of Springfield, Mass.; five daughters, Rose Palmer, Marion Hicks and Louise Ross, all of Livermore, Gail Smith, of Ellsworth and Madeline Elwell, of Augusta; 17 grandchildren, Sonny Dill, Frank Pomerleau, Donna Poulin, John and Scott Dewar, Jamie Palmer, Tina Pelletier, Shawn Smith, Chris, Lori and Brian Hatch, Lyndsey Hicks, Kerry and Gayla Ross, Tina and Robbie Smith and Heather Castonguay; sisters, Rose Therrien, of Jay, and Eva Ferretti, of Canton; a brother, Ted Thibeault, of Louisiana; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Shirley Levett, a sister, Mabel Beisaw, three brothers, Clarence, Joseph and Frank Thibeault.
