• Nov. 3 – Angela White, 27, formerly of Waterville, notified police that she is a registered sex offender after moving into a Granite Street residence in Mexico.
• Oct. 21 – An investigation into the theft of 10 sets of manhole covers and associated hardware from the Mexico town garage led police to summons Mark Ramsdell, 46, of Mexico, on a charge of theft, said Chief James Theriault.
Theriault said police summonsed Ramsdell and another unidentified man on the same charge, but the second man’s name was not yet listed in the investigating officer’s incident report.
He said the two men who were summonsed “thought the covers were junk, took them right from the town garage and scrapped them.”
The covers and hardware were worth an estimated $5,000. The two men are to be arraigned on Dec. 7 in Rumford District Court.
