• Nov. 6, 6:20 a.m. – Vehicles driven by Richard Beedy, 71, of Dixfield, and Paul Greenleaf, 53, of Minot, collided on Weld Street near the intersection of Birch Avenue. Damages to Beedy’s 2002 Nissan SUV were estimated at $600; to Greenleaf’s 1994 Jeep, $1,600.
• Nov. 4 – A fire was reported near a residence on Route 2 just east of the Dixfield Common Road intersection. At the request of the Dixfield Fire Company, Officer Jeffrey Stoddard responded to assist in the investigation, which remains open and active.
• Oct. 30, 9:15 a.m. – A Bradley Street resident reported vandalism to his residence. The case remains under investigation.
• Oct. 29, 2:50 p.m. – Three vehicles were involved in a crash on Weld Street at the intersection of Main Street, also known as Route 2. Damages to a 1994 Pontiac operated by Pamela Farrell, 45, of Dixfield, were estimated at $2,500; to a 2002 Jeep SUV operated by Crystal Noyes, 41, of Peru, $3,500. Also involved was a SAD 21 school bus operated by Tom Theriault, 59, of Dixfield. The bus was not damaged.
• Oct. 26, 6:30 p.m. – Roy Hutchins of Dixfield collided with a deer on Route 2 near Newton Brook rest area. Damages to Hutchins’ 1999 Nissan pickup were estimated at $2,500. The deer did not survive.
Arrests
• John W. Menthe, 26, of East Dixfield, on a charge of fugitive from justice based on a Florida criminal arrest warrant, on Oct. 25. He was taken to Oxford County jail to await extradition by Florida police.
