AUBURN – The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College will offer “How to Handle Objections when Fund-Raising” (FRI 003-01), the next workshop in its nonprofit fund-raising series, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16. The cost is $55 and includes materials. Participants will learn how to create strategies to handle objections before meeting with prospects. They will also identify five things to like about objections, four ways to handle objections and practical phrases to use when talking with prospects.
