AUBURN – Funeral service for Erwin E. Crocker were held Friday morning from the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham & Son with Rev. Lawrence Hathorne officiating. Prior to the service the American Legion Post 31 held a prayer service for Erwin who was a past commander. Rev. Hathorne also recited committal prayers at Gracelawn Memorial Park. The bearers were Sarah Francis, Bethany Bradshaw, Becky Lekan, Jennifer and Ryan Crocker as well as Richard Bradshaw. Following committal prayers, Taps was played by Mel Tukey and the Army Honor detail of Fort Drum, N.Y., folded and presented our country’s flag to Erwin’s son Scott in recognition of his father’s service to his country during World War II. A reception of fellowship was then held at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston following the services. Arrangements by the family owned Dillingham & Son Memorial Chapel and Tribute Center, Auburn.
