AUBURN – Wayne and Mary Hackett of Mechanic Falls are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Hackett of Auburn, to Gregory Scott of Auburn, son of Robert and Susan Scott of Leeds.

Miss Hackett is a 2001 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington and is employed as a special education teacher at Monmouth Middle School.

Mr. Scott is currently a student at Andover College and is employed at Ace Hardware in Auburn.

The wedding will be held on April 16.
