FARMINGTON – The Fairbanks Union Church will hold a holiday fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at the church on Fairbanks Road. The fair will offer a variety of houseplants, crafts, homemade candy, fresh canned goods, including relishes and apple butter, vintage and costume jewelry, and baked beans and brown bread. Annual fair

RANGELEY – The Women’s Fellowship Group of the Rangeley Congregational Church will offer its annual holiday fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at the Barn on High Street. All are invited.

The fair will offer tables of dried arrangements, articles for pets, items made by the men, angels and Santa’s seconds in addition to a selection of ornaments and various handmade crafts. The cookie walk will return with a variety of items in a jar, jams, pickles and cakes.

The senior class at Rangeley Lakes Regional School will serve a luncheon from 11 a.m.to 1 p.m.

Workshop canceled

LEWISTON – American Legion Auxiliary Second District President Edith Lemieux announces that Department of Maine Auxiliary Leadership Chairwoman Mary Ellen Field has canceled the report-writing workshop to have been held in Trenton on Sunday, Nov. 21. A new date will be announced. The workshop helps the units with leadership and communication of auxiliary activities.

FARMINGTON – A free Thanksgiving dinner will be served for the November community luncheon at Henderson Memorial Baptist Church on Academy Street from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20. Thanksgiving meal

WILTON – A Thanksgiving season public supper will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church on High Street. Casseroles, salads, breads and desserts are on the menu. Admission is free and the public is welcome. The meal is sponsored by the churches of the Wilton Ecumenical Outreach: First Congregational, St. Luke’s Episcopal and Wilton United Methodist.

Seniors dinner

RANGELEY – The annual senior citizens Thanksgiving dinner is scheduled at noon on Sunday, Nov. 21, at the Episcopal Church of Good Shepherd. Community volunteers plan to serve a dinner with all the fixings, including pies, at the undercroft at the church. There is no cost, but donations will be accepted. Pies available

FARMINGTON – Pre-orders of homemade pies will be accepted until Monday, Nov. 22, for the annual St. Luke’s Thanksgiving pie sale from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Nov. 24, at Twice Sold Tales Book Store on Main Street. To pre-order a pie, call 645-4195 or 778-4511. The pies must be picked up by 11 a.m. on the day of the sale. All proceeds will support St. Luke’s Church.
