Friends of Mico Morin can send their thoughts to Morin and his family at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colo.

“We do this because we know it’s difficult for people to reach across great distances to offer best wishes,” said Kimberly Langston, the hospital’s public relations director.

To send a message to the Morins, people may log onto www.swedishhospital.com, then click on patient services, then send e-mail to a patient.

Langston said the messages are delivered to patients at least once a day and sometimes more often.
