PORTLAND – The African drum and dance troupe Bi-Okoto will perform its traditional repertoire at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, at the Center for Cultural Exchange.

Bi-Okoto presents an eclectic repertoire of more than 90 authentic traditional dances, music, dance-dramas, operas and new contemporary works. These works come from Nigeria, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Mali, Guinea, Senegal, Kenya and South Africa. They include contemporary works by Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka.
