BETHEL – A Bethel man was indicted last week on felony charges of assaulting police officers and domestic assault.

An Oxford County grand jury indicted Robert F. Tuttle, 36, of Songo Pond Road, on Nov. 19 on three counts of assault on an officer, and misdemeanor charges of assault, terrorizing and refusing to submit to arrest.

According to the indictment, Tuttle reportedly used physical force to prevent his arrest, and, in the process, injured Bethel Officer Shane Thomas, Oxford County Sgt. Gary Hill, and State Trooper Kyle Tilsley when they responded Nov. 12 to a domestic dispute at Tuttle’s home.

Tuttle was also charged with injuring and threatening to kill a woman at the residence.
