NORWAY – Stephens Memorial Hospital and the Maine Medical Blood Center will hold a blood drive from noon to 6 p.m.Wednesday, Dec. 8, at the hospital’s Harper Conference Center in the Ripley Medical Building, 193 Main St.

Blood need is critical during the holidays, according to Tracey Geary, vice president of community relations at SMH. Appointments are encouraged and may be made by calling Mike or Jim at 743-5933, extension 432. All appointments will be honored before walk-ins. Blood collected during the drive will be used at Stephens Memorial Hospital. All donors will receive a gift for donating blood.
