TOPSHAM – Paul F. “Gus” Gustwick Jr., 70, of Bowdoinham Road, Lisbon Falls, passed away Thursday afternoon, Nov. 25, with his loving wife at his side.

He was born in La Ceiba, Honduras, March 15, 1934, the son of Paul F. Gustwick Sr. and Margaret A. Cooper Gustwick.

Mr. Gustwick was a career Veteran of the United States Navy, retiring as a Master Chief after more than 30 years of service.

Following his naval career, he dedicated 22 years of service to Bath Iron Works as a materials management specialist, until his retirement in 2001. Gus enjoyed working in the yard and being everyone’s “Mr. Fix It.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, and was an avid reader.

He leaves his wife, the former Vivien Eager, whom he wed Dec. 13, 1968; a son, Christopher Gustwick, and grandson, Cody, of Acworth, Ga.; and a daughter, Sarah Hanson, her husband, David, and granddaughter, Brinley, of Lisbon.

He also leaves a brother, Anthony Gustwick and his wife, Linda, of Natchitoches, La.

He was predeceased by his parents; and a brother, Robert.
