POLAND SPRING – Beverly Turcotte, 60, of Poland Spring, passed away unexpectedly Friday afternoon, Nov. 26, at her home.

She was born March 30, 1944 in Biddeford, the daughter of Frank and Edith Sargent.

She grew up in Old Orchard Beach. She graduated from Old Orchard Beach High School in 1962.

On Sept. 22, 1968, she married Robert Turcotte and within a few years was blessed with three wonderful daughters.

She was employed for many years as a shift leader at Hannaford Brothers in Auburn. She was well loved by her co-workers who will miss her dearly.

“Bev” enjoyed working at home outside in the yard. Her beautiful flowers could always be found along the walkways and front lawn. She loved to spend summer days wading in the ocean waters and tanning on the beach with her family.

She devoted most of her life to her daughters and was happiest spending time with her three grandsons.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Turcotte, of Poland Spring; daughters, Michelle Binette and her husband, Paul, of Leeds, Melissa Haley and husband, Seamus, of Gray, Debra Turcotte, of Poland Spring; sisters, Helen Blais, of Old Orchard Beach, Jean MacDonald, of Old Orchard Beach; brother, Edward Sargent, of Old Orchard Beach; and her three grandsons, Tristan and Tanner Binette, and Keegan Haley.

She was predeceased by her brother, Roger Sargent, of Old Orchard Beach.
