LEWISTON – Yvette A. Laprise, 85, of 70 Blake St., Lewiston, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 30, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

Born in Lewiston, May 9, 1919, the daughter of Godfois and Philomene (Thibault) Laprise, she had been a resident of this community all her life. She was educated in Lewiston schools.

She worked for 30 years at the local Shapiro Shoe Company before her retirement.

She was a member of L-A Senior Citizens, Horizon 55, Covenant 50, and Saints Peter and Paul Parish.

She is survived one sister; Juliette Pouliot; two nieces, Pauline Marsh and Dorothy Zamrock; nine nephews, Richard, Ronald, Roger and Raymond Hebert, Roland, Maurice, Larry and Dr. Paul Laprise, and Daniel Crocket.

She was predeceased by a very special friend, Carmen Delisle; two brothers; and three sisters.
