BRYANT POND – Bob and Cil Rice will be the guest speakers at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, at the Whitman Memorial Library.

They will give a presentation of their trip to China via computer, photos and souvenirs. The program is open to the public free.

Worship topic

NORWAY – Worship service at the Norway Universalist Church at 11 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, will be led by the Rev. Joy Gasta.

Her topic will be “O Little Town of Norway: What is Special about This Small Town and This Area of Maine?” Child care is provided.

New group

BRIDGTON – “Mom’s Milk,” a new breastfeeding support group, will meet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13, at Bridgton Hospital.

Certified lactation consultant Crystal Coen, R.N., will be available at each session.

Caroling party

WATERFORD – The Waterford Library will hold its annual Christmas caroling party at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18.

Those wishing can gather at the Christmas tree on the common in Waterford Flat for candlelight singing. Refreshments and a visit from Santa will follow at the library.
